Famous for their award winning caramels, The Simple Farm is a quaint local farm located in North Scottsdale off the 101/Cactus.
They are only open to the public on Thursday mornings from 9-11:30. This is a great place to stop by and enjoy the simple farm ambiance, watch the goats play and perhaps they’ll put you to work…I got to help cut lavender! The Pastry selection is beyond belief…simply fantastic! We had a coconut almond cake and croissant with brie, bacon and apricot. The pastries are provided by Picket Fence Pastries. They sell at other locations, so I recommend to visit any locations they serve.
I picked up some fresh organic eggs while I was there and learned a trick. If you store with the pointed end pointed downward, your eggs will last longer. I also learned enough to know that I will only buy organic eggs in the future.
This will be a fun farm to visit and see what their fresh picks of the day are and just stop by to enjoy a simpler start to the day.
