It’s Money Monday! 💰This is National Simplify your life week and that always gets us to thinking about doing with less, donating and giving. We just learned about this new opportunity for giving and wanted to share with you how to support the Giving Meters. 💲 🚗The Giving Meters are re-purposed parking meters, decorated by local artists, that are placed on sidewalks in areas with high foot traffic in downtown. 👣🚶By donating, you can help “change” the lives of those experiencing homelessness through supported services. 💰 The Giving Meters will accept both change and credit cards. 💳Funds will help the homeless and funds will be administered by PHX C.A.R.E.S. 🎨👩🎨This Meter was painted by Paige Poppe and is located outside City Hall to the east of the Washington Street entrance. Others are located at First Ave/Jefferson, Third/VanBuren, Second Level of CityScape. 🍽️We recently served food at St. Vincent de Paul and it was daunting to see so many people in need. Sometimes it’s hard to find ways to support or make small donations. This is a great example of an opportunity for small donations to add up to big “change.” 💰💳We hope you’ll participate. As a bonus, this not only supports our homeless population, but it supports art, creativity and beautification of our City. So many wins happening here. Happy Money Monday!
